On May 24, 2025, 39 first-year students from IGS participated in their first-year internship at Tadanoumi Port and Okunoshima Island. At Tadanoumi Port, they learned about tourism management, while on Okunoshima, they studied the island¡¯s natural environment and history.
Activities included visiting the Poison Gas Museum, learning about the island¡¯s geology, observing the environmental impact of rabbits, experiencing craft-making using local fruits, nuts, and branches, and observing tourists interacting with rabbits. It was a meaningful day of learning about Okunoshima from the three fields of IGS.
