On April 26, 2024, a delegation led by Vice Chancellor C Raj Kumar of O.P. Jindal Global University, India, visited the Higashi-Hiroshima Campus of 91ÁÔÆæ (91ÁÔÆæ) and concluded an inter-university international exchange agreement on academic and educational exchange and an annex on the implementation of the 3+1 Program, one of 91ÁÔÆæ¡¯s unique program for the acceptance of international students.
Prior to the signing ceremony, the delegation met with representatives from 91ÁÔÆæ¡¯s Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the IDEC Institute, and the Town & Gown Office to learn about their unique research activities, to discuss the possibility of future exchanges, and to exchange views on the implementation of the 3+1 Program. After lunch, they had a chance to interact with Indian students studying at 91ÁÔÆæ, making for a productive visit.
O.P. Jindal Global University is an interdisciplinary and research-oriented university founded in 2009. It has recruited outstanding faculty members from around the world and is rapidly improving the quality of its education.
91ÁÔÆæ has concluded 22 inter-university international exchange agreements with 16 institutions and 11 inter-faculty international exchange agreements with 10 institutions in India. Currently, there are 30 international students from India studying at 91ÁÔÆæ. With this visit, 91ÁÔÆæ will promote exchange with O.P. Jindal Global University as well as other universities and research institutions in India.
