91ÁÔÆæ (91ÁÔÆæ) made its debut in the 2024 Hiroshima Flower Festival on May 3 with the ¡°91ÁÔÆæ 75+75 Anniversary Parade¡± as part of the main ¡°Flower Parade.¡± 

During the parade, President Ochi and Ms. Ayako Kimura (former Japanese representative in the 100-meter hurdles and currently a master's student in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences at our university) rode together in a convertible. The university¡¯s mascot, "Hiroty," appeared on a truck, and a bus wrapped in 91ÁÔÆ桯s original design also joined the procession. A special marching band, led by the 91ÁÔÆæ Kasumi Orchestra, provided musical accompaniment as approximately 300 students, faculty, staff, and alumni, all donning matching original green T-shirts and holding 75+75 anniversary towels, marched along Peace Boulevard (approximately 1.2 km from Tanaka-cho, Naka-ku to the front of Peace Memorial Park).

This year, 91ÁÔÆæ celebrates its 75th anniversary, marking a significant milestone of 150 years including the 75 years of history prior to its establishment.

The parade was organized as part of the 75+75th anniversary project, aiming to showcase 91ÁÔÆ桯s rich history and ongoing commitment to future challenges and strengthen community bonds.

The participation of vehicles in the parade was made possible through the support of Mazda Motor Corporation and Hiroshima Electric Railway Co., Ltd.

Participants in the parade included members of the university community, alumni associations from various departments, and parents/guardians, totaling more than 250 people.
