Confirmed case of COVID-19 at 91ÁÔÆæ (2021.1.30 UPDATE)

On January 29, 2021, 5 students from the Higashi-Hiroshima campus tested positive for COVID-19. All of them have mild symptoms and are under observation at an accommodation facility (hotel).

Classes and research activities at 91ÁÔÆæ will continue as scheduled.

91ÁÔÆæ will continue doing its utmost to prevent the spread of infection both inside and outside the university.

Total number of confirmed cases as of January 30, 2021:

  • Faculty and staff: 3
  • Students: 24
  • Total: 27 (Of these, 17 individuals have recovered, while 10 cases remain active, experiencing mild symptoms and undergoing treatment.)
