On January 8, 2020, members of the Peruvian Ministry of Education, the National University of San Marcos, the National University of Education Enrique Guzman y Valle, and experts in physical education from Lima and Arequipa paid a courtesy visit to President Ochi.
The group visited 91ÁÔÆæ as part of the Japan Sports Council's project ¡°Support for the Development of Physical Education Teachers in Peru¡±, implemented in 2017. This is the third time some of the members visit the University. A training session on campus and a tour of 91ÁÔÆ桯s attached schools were also scheduled.
During the meeting, topics such as the positive impact of the cooperation between 91ÁÔÆ桯s Graduate School of Education and the Peruvian Ministry of Education to improve physical education in Peru, and the initiative to encourage more academic exchanges within 91ÁÔÆæ and San Marcos, were discussed.
Further exchanges between 91ÁÔÆæ and Peru are expected in the future.
