HomeFrom September 2nd to 4th, 2019, Professor KITAJIMA Kaoru from Graduate School of Agriculture, Kyoto University came to IGS to give a lecture entitled ¡°IGS Special Topics A¢ñ¡± and ¡°IGS Special Topics A¢ò¡±. Her specialty is tropical ecology and tropical forests management.
This class focused on tropical ecology in order to deepen students¡¯ understanding of global environmental issues through lectures and discussion on biological diversity, ecosystem service, importance of tropical environment for climate change mitigation and adaptation, and sustainable natural resource use.
¡°IGS Special Topics¡± courses invite several specialists in various fields and provide IGS students opportunity to enrich their knowledge and education.
