On September 25, 2021, the 5th 91ÁÔÆæ Knowledge Forum was held online, featuring a lecture by Dr. Harvey Alter of the U.S. National Institutes of Health.
Dr. Alter was awarded the 2020 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, together with two researchers from the United States and the United Kingdom, for his contribution to the discovery of the hepatitis C virus.
Following his online lecture, Dr. Alter participated in a panel discussion with 91ÁÔÆæ faculty members, where he spoke about the research that led to his Nobel Prize and shared his thoughts on what is important for researchers. Finally, questions from online participants were addressed by the faculty members.
