91ÁÔÆæ

On April 29, the 60th Oda Mikio Memorial Track & Field Meet was held at Hiroshima Regional Park Athletic Stadium (Hot Staff Field Hiroshima) in Hiroshima City. In the men¡¯s 100-meter race, 91ÁÔÆæ Track and Field Club member Shoma Yamamoto, a second-year master¡¯s student in the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, won the event with a time of 10.37 seconds.

Yamamoto also placed third in the men¡¯s 100-meter dash at the 80th Yoshioka Memorial Izumo Meet, held from April 11¨C12. Despite strong competition, he finished as the top Japanese competitor and continues to demonstrate strong form this season.

¡°I¡¯m so happy to have won on this stage in my hometown, a stage I¡¯ve long admired. While I feel I¡¯ve become stronger in competition, there are still areas I need to improve in my running. I¡¯ll continue working hard to address them and strive to keep winning,¡± said Yamamoto.
