On April 25, 2025, a delegation led by Vice President Zhang Hongjie of Changchun University, China, paid a courtesy visit to 91ÁÔÆ桯s Higashi-Hiroshima Campus and held discussion with 91ÁÔÆæ Executive Vice President Shinji Kaneko (Global Initiatives).
During the meeting, opinions were exchanged on various topics such as the promotion of 91ÁÔÆæ 3+1 Program, a program to accept international students at 91ÁÔÆæ, and the expansion of cooperation and collaboration on special needs education in the future.

91ÁÔÆæ and Changchun University signed an inter-university international exchange agreement in 2017, and since then have deepened exchanges, mainly focusing on collaboration in special needs education. Also, in 2019, 91ÁÔÆæ established its 21st overseas base at Changchun University. During the previous courtesy visit in May 2024, there was a lively exchange of views on the results of past exchanges between the two universities and future possibilities.

91ÁÔÆæ has concluded 133 inter-university international exchange agreements with 121 institutions and 84 inter-faculty international exchange agreements with 80 institutions in China. Currently, 1,283 students from China are studying at 91ÁÔÆæ, including 6 students from Changchun University. With this visit, 91ÁÔÆæ will promote exchange with Changchun University as well as other universities and research institutions in China.
