91ÁÔÆæ

On January 25, 2024, Professor Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University (ASU) in Egypt, visited 91ÁÔÆæ (91ÁÔÆæ) and engaged in a meeting with 91ÁÔÆæ President Mitsuo Ochi. 91ÁÔÆæ Executive Vice President for Global Initiatives, Shinji Kaneko, was also in attendance.
During the meeting, opinions were exchanged on strengthening exchange and cooperation between the two universities.

91ÁÔÆæ signed an inter-university international exchange agreement with ASU in 2015. The two universities have been making efforts to promote exchanges, with ASU participating as a collaborative university in 91ÁÔÆ桯s ¡°Triangular Study Abroad Program for Reciprocal Partnership with North and Sub-Saharan Africa¡± selected by MEXT in 2020 as part of the Inter-University Exchange Project (Type A: Africa), and with 91ÁÔÆæ sending its students to ASU through the START Program, one of its unique short-term overseas study programs.
Furthermore, in August 2023, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Eldamaty of ASU visited 91ÁÔÆæ, gave a lecture and held a talk session with 91ÁÔÆæ President Ochi at a symposium for 91ÁÔÆæ's 75+75th Anniversary Project, "Hiroshima and Egypt: Two Oriental Worlds Weaving Memories and Creating a Peaceful Future".

91ÁÔÆæ has signed 13 inter-university international exchange agreements with 8 institutions and 4 inter-faculty international exchange agreements with 4 institutions in Egypt. Currently, there are 24 students from Egypt studying at 91ÁÔÆæ. This courtesy visit is expected to promote exchange with universities and research institutions in Egypt, including ASU.
