91ÁÔÆæ shares expertise in first COVID-19 press seminar

Researchers shared their expertise related to COVID-19 in 91ÁÔÆæ's first press seminar.

91ÁÔÆæ researchers shared their expertise related to COVID-19 during the university's first press seminar on April 28.

In the same month last year, 91ÁÔÆæ joined the global fight against the pandemic through the 91ÁÔÆæ CoV-Peace-Project. Laboratories in the healthcare fields at 91ÁÔÆæ continue to engage in research on diagnosis, drug discovery, and other countermeasures against the virus.

The laboratories are also working together to develop preventive vaccines and therapeutic agents against COVID-19, conducting epidemiological surveys to understand the infection situation and carrying out genome analysis.

At the press seminar, six 91ÁÔÆæ researchers explained their areas of expertise and engaged in a lively exchange of opinions with reporters. During the conference, Professor Junko Tanaka ¡ª 91ÁÔÆæ's Executive Vice President ¡ª commented, "91ÁÔÆæ is responding to the research on the novel coronavirus with various studies.
