Students from Changchun University of Science and Technology (China) Visit 91ÁÔÆæ

For two days from February 22 through February 23, 2017, 14 students led by a supervising faculty member from Changchun University of Science and Technology (China) visited 91ÁÔÆæ as part of the Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science (SAKURA Exchange Program in Science) promoted by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).

The SAKURA Exchange Program in Science promotes exchanges between Asian and Japanese youths by facilitating short-term visits of competent Asian youths to Japan. This program aims at raising interest among Asian youths toward leading Japanese science and technologies, promoting the cultivation of talent, and thus leading to the development of science and technology in Japan and the wider Asian region.

During their stay, the delegation from Changchun University of Science and Technology interacted with Japanese and Chinese students of 91ÁÔÆæ, enjoyed cultural learning experiences, and visited various 91ÁÔÆæ research facilities including the Graduate School of Engineering, Graduate School of Science, Higashi-Hiroshima Astronomical Observatory at the Hiroshima Astrophysical Science Center, Natural Science Center for Basic Research and Development, Hiroshima Synchrotron Radiation Center, and the 91ÁÔÆæ Museum.
