[Central] Air Conditioning Renovation (Apr. 17th update)

The Central Library will carry out air conditioning renovation work on the schedule below in order to improve the indoor environment.
During the construction period, there will be noise, temporary restrictions on the use of some seating areas, and periods during which air conditioning will be unavailable.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Construction Period

April 20 (Mon.) 2026 - September 30 (Wed.) 2026 (tentative)

The first through third floors of the Central Library will be divided into five areas, and construction will proceed sequentially.
Detailed schedules will be updated as soon as they are finalized.

General Notes for the Entire Construction Period

  • The construction period for each area is tentative and may change.
  • Noise and vibrations will occur during the construction work.
  • Seating near the construction areas will be unavailable.
  • Air conditioning may not be available during certain periods.
  • There will be no restrictions on the use of the book stacks.

  • On the morning of April 22 (Wed.), Noise will occur intermittently.
  • On the morning of April 22 (Wed.), air conditioning will not be available in some private study rooms and group study rooms.
  • On April 25 (Sat.), air conditioning will not be available.
