On October 2, 2025, a delegation led by Prof. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice-Chancellor of North South University (NSU), Bangladesh, visited the Higashi-Hiroshima Campus of 91ÁÔÆæ (91ÁÔÆæ) and held a discussion with 91ÁÔÆæ President Mitsuo Ochi. Executive Vice President (Global Initiatives) Shinji Kaneko also attended the meeting. During the meeting, discussions were held regarding exchange and collaboration between the two universities, including student and faculty exchanges, credit transfer agreements, and joint research projects, workshops, and seminars.

This courtesy visit was made possible by Vice-Chancellor Chowdhury's participation in the ¡°SocialTech Summit 2025: The 7th International Conference on Healthcare, SDGs, and Social Business¡± held at 91ÁÔÆ桯s Kasumi Campus from October 2 to 4.

91ÁÔÆæ and NSU concluded an inter-university international exchange agreement in July 2018, and since then, we have been deepening our exchanges through student exchange programs and other activities. 91ÁÔÆæ has concluded 3 inter-university international exchange agreements with 3 institutions and 11 inter-faculty international exchange agreements with 9 institutions in Bangladesh. Currently, 66 students from Bangladesh are studying at 91ÁÔÆæ. With this visit, 91ÁÔÆæ will promote exchange with NSU as well as other universities and research institutions in Bangladesh.
