On May 28, 52 international exchange students from North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia, participating in the 91ÁÔÆæ Study Abroad Program (91ÁÔÆæSA) 2019-2020 conducted a presentation of their Practical Research Group Project titled the ¡°Glocal Leadership Project: Cooperation of University & Local Society ~Self-Support System: Discover Hiroshima~¡±. This was held online (TEAMS). This became the 2nd Midyear presentation seminar for the Projects.
Five groups of international exchange students in the 91ÁÔÆæSA Program 2019-2020 reported the progress of their practical group projects in the seminar chaired by the associate professor Naomi Tsunematsu of Morito Institute of Global Higher Education. Students have been undertaking research on ¡°Guide to Living in Saijo with Dietary Restrictions,¡± ¡°Guide for Onsen in Hiroshima Prefecture,¡± ¡°Life with New Coronavirus Influence¡±, etc.
The seminar was held as open seminar and students received valuable feedback from people from professors, graduate students, international students and Japanese students of 91ÁÔÆæ, and municipal government officials. Students gained insights into how they could cooperate with local people.
91ÁÔÆæSA students taking the ¡°Globalization Support Internship¡± conducted a presentation to report the practicum of their international exchange project in Kurahashi Festival in February 2020. The projects have been progressing, receiving warm support from the campus community. We are looking forward to seeing further development of the projects.
